Final Project
30% A 2500-3000 words final paper (creative projects must be approved by
the instructor) will be due on Monday May 5 by 11:59 pm on class blog. Your paper should focus on one of the course
themes, make the best use of in-class readings, and utilize the results found
in your interviews. You are
encouraged to develop your midterm paper/project for your final paper/project.
However, you must make substantial improvement, such as adding in-depth
analysis of texts, adding texts for comparison, and utilizing at least 5 external academic sources and three in-class readings for your final project. Pay attention to academic style and document
your sources using the MLA style manual. You are encouraged to develop your
ideas into a creative project such as an MV, a multimedia website, or a short film, but your multimedia project must include at
least 1500 words written analysis in addition to the audio/visual components. Post your final project on your own blog, and paste the TITLE and a LINK to your project as a response to my post here. Due Monday May 5 by 11:59 pm. Finally, remember that originality counts!
